Physics 101

Okay, I'm pretty sure I know, but I just want to check - I would need to slow the rotation of the Earth to slow down time, thus creating more than 24 hours in a day, right?

The reason I ask this is that I am now (as of around 5 pm on Thursday) the President of SAC at Georgian, still on my co-op on the rockwall, still intent on covering varsity sports - I mean, really, I kinda owe it to a lot of them for voting - and, on top of all that, I actually plan on sleeping and spending time at home (I know, I'm a selfish bastard).

Now, of course, the real struggle comes as I contemplate the consequences of speeding up the rotation of the Earth, thus resulting in October 24 arriving earlier.

Oh, the perils of physics.
