Warning: Dork Post

Alright, this is a very dorky, very baseball-centric post, but I cannot let it slide. During the Jays game, Rogers Sportsnet put up a graphic showing that Oakland Athletics DH Jack Cust leads the majors with a strikeouts-per-plate-appearance rate of 3.091. Who cares? I care! That statistic implies that every time Cust comes to the plate, he strikes out slightly more three times. In that case, he is, indeed, a pitcher's dream.

1 - The more common version of this statistic is plate-appearances-per-strikeout, so an honest mistake, but it's not like they've got interns running the team's broadcasts.
