I'll let you peruse this perfectly well-written piece for yourself as I lack the refinement to elaborate further on it. Let it suffice to say that, as Matt Good puts it, Michael Jackson's myriad eccentricities are part of what made him the person and the legend that he was and is, and his death should not gloss over the details in the life of a very peculiar man.
